Michael graduated with distinction from the University of Toronto in 2006 with a Specialist in Commerce & Finance and a major in Economics. He joined the firm in 2009 as an articling student after receiving his J.D. from the University of British Columbia. Michael was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2010.

Michael is a member of the Canadian Bar Association. Michael also completed the Canadian Securities Course in 2009.
